Judge James P. McClusky is a lifelong Jefferson County resident with over 35 years of legal experience. A graduate of Watertown High School, Hartwick College, and the University at Buffalo Law School, he began his career at the McClusky Law Firm and went on to serve as Assistant Public Defender, Conflict Defender, and Town of Watertown Judge.
Elected to the New York State Supreme Court in 2012, Judge McClusky also serves as Supervising Judge for all Town and Village Courts in Jefferson County. Known for his integrity, fairness, and deep community involvement, he is seeking re-election to continue delivering trusted justice across the 5th Judicial District.
